Description
Metal Universe was a card set created as an alternative to the traditional sets. It was designed to attract a younger audience, someone who might not have collected cards before. Because we had a relationship with Marvel Comics, we used some of their illustrators to work with us to achieve the look we were after. Each card in the 250 card set was individually illustrated according to the position of the player, in a fantasy background. When printing the cards, we used an etched foil background over printed by the four color to enhance the artwork.
